About
I*ESN Tilburg is an interdisciplinary student association, which is part of the International ESN network. We are the key international student organization in Tilburg. Our goal is to enrich the International student life in Tilburg through a platform for internationalization and integration. We provide a variety of activities for both degree-seeking student who do a bachelor or master here, and exchange students who are here for 1 or 2 semesters. We have our own international meeting point in the city centre of Tilburg
Activities
I*ESN Tilburg is one of the most active sections of the Netherlands. Our Activities Calendar is filled with activities, ranging from 3-6 activities per week! A small overview of what we organize: International Dinners, Theme Parties, Poker Nights, T-days (local excursions), City Trips, Gala, International Parties, Karaoke Night, Foam Party, "˜Create your own event"™, and way more!
Dinners
We are famous for our dinners. International students are divided among groups and each student will have the possibility to join a big dinner with another group, which is the perfect way to get to know their fellow international students. Also, this is a great opportunity to meet the Dutch students that will help them throughout the semester.The dinner will be a typical dish which is cooked by students from the same country or region. Afterwards everyone goes to Carpe Diem (which is the name of our own building) for a great theme party! Next to weekly dinners, we have monthly international dinners in which one particular country has the chance to show its excellent food, music, dance and other cultural traditions.

Quite a big chance that one of the activities me
ntioned above will be going on in our own building which serves as an international meeting point. It is named "˜Carpe Diem"™, and is located right in the city centre. We are very proud, since Tilburg is the first section in the ESN network with has its own building! It is ran by the board, bar committee, and other active I*ESN-ers. If you"™re from another city, feel free to stop by! It"™s members only, but
you can enter the building as a guest. Every Thurday and Friday from 15:00 till 20:00 Carpe Diem is open for studying, chilling, and more. Some Thursday we also offer dinner.
Personal Development
If you want to improve yourself personally or
academically, you are at the right spot at I*ESN Tilburg. You can become active in one of our committees or projects. Think about writing for the magazine, organize activities, be a bartender, or organize the introduction week!
Two respected committees are: the "˜Social Projects"™ committee, where international students help out the local community and the "˜Research committee"™, in which a group of international students is doing research on housing and the needs of international students on campus.
